Come See COVE In Houston!

COVE is excited to partner with the National Safety Council and the Campbell Institute to share “The Seeing Safety Experience” at the 2018 National Safety Congress in Houston!  COVE will be part of the NSC Booth on the exhibit floor and visitors will be able to experience what visual literacy is all about.  Highlights will include:

  • A visual literacy hands on experience that will illustrate our challenge in easily describing what we see to others.
  • Learning how lessons from art education can help us overcome our natural limitations and bias in interpreting what we see.
  • Case studies on the application of visual literacy in industrial applications.
  • In booth theater presentations that will teach why visual literacy is important in today’s world and analytics that have uncovered the contribution that not seeing effectively plays in incidents that occur.

COVE staff will be available in the booth to answer questions regarding visual literacy and its application to safety processes.  Come see us and have some fun in “The Seeing Safety Experience” at the NSC booth!
